Police release names of Hornby crash victims

Police are now in a position to release the names of the two people who died in a crash on Halswell Junction Road in Hornby, Christchurch on Saturday, 25 September.

They were Mark Graham Nicholl, 30, of Christchurch and William John Clark, 29, of Christchurch.

Police would like to extend sympathies to their families at this very difficult time.

Two other people injured in the crash remain in hospital, one in a serious condition.

Police are making active enquires to establish the full circumstances of the crash and the actions of any other vehicles involved.

Anyone with any information which could assist us in our investigation is encouraged to contact Police by calling 105 and quoting file number 210926/0149.

Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.

Others involved in this crash do not wish to speak to media and have requested privacy.
