East Taieri-Allanton Road (SH1) has reopened following the fatal crash earlier today.
One person died following the two-vehicle crash, which was reported to Police at 12:24pm.
The circumstances of the crash will be investigated.
Police thank motorists for their patience while emergency services worked at the scene.
