PETITIONS, PAPERS, SELECT COMMITTEE REPORTS, AND INTRODUCTION OF BILLS

SPEAKER: No bills have been introduced. Petitions have been delivered to the Clerk for presentation.

CLERK:

  • Petition of Barbara Joyce requesting that the House increase benefit levels or provide additional income support to Chatham Islands residents
  • Petition of Democracy for Myanmar Working Group New Zealand requesting that the House urge the Government to recognize the National Unity Government (NUG) as the legitimate Government of Myanmar.

SPEAKER: Those petitions stand referred to the Petitions Committee. I present an erratum to the report of the Controller and Auditor-General entitled Results of our 2019/20 audits of port companies. That paper is published under the authority of the House. A select committee report has been delivered for presentation.

CLERK: Report of the Finance and Expenditure Committee on the briefing from the New Zealand Bankers’ Association.

SPEAKER: That report is set down for consideration.
