Police are advising motorists to expect delays after a diesel spill on State Highway 1, near Mercer.
Police were called to reports the vehicle had leaked diesel, on the southbound lanes, just before Island Block Road, about 3.30pm today.
Traffic management is being put in place while the substance is cleaned up.
Both southbound lanes will be closed for a time while this is being done.
Motorists are advised to expect delays or avoid the area if possible.
