Police can confirm a pedestrian has died following the earlier crash in Manurewa.
The crash, involving a car and the pedestrian, at the intersection of Weymouth Road and Clendon Place, was reported to Police at 4pm.
The road is now open.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
