Emergency services are responding to a serious crash on the Lawrence-Waitahuna Highway (SH 8).
It happened west of Bloy Road shortly before 10:50am.
Initial indications suggest two cars are involved, and that four people are injured – one in serious condition, two with moderate injuries, and one with minor injuries.
State Highway 8 is completely blocked and traffic is being diverted along Bloy Road.
Motorists are asked to delay travel if possible and expect delays.
