Enquiries underway following Hamilton robbery

Police are making enquiries following a report of a robbery at a residential property in Frankton, Hamilton this morning.

Two men reportedly entered the property on Maitland Street about 9.50am, presented a firearm and demanded money.

The pair took several items before fleeing on foot.

No shots were fired and the sole occupant of the property was not injured.

Police are following strong lines of enquiry and do not believe the public has any further cause for concern.

Anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area this morning is urged to call Police on 105, quoting job number P046781548.
