Name release – fisherman, Raglan

Police can now release the name of the fisherman who died after being swept away near Raglan on 2 May 2021.

He was Ariel Tagao, 44, of Hamilton.

Police extend their sympathies to Mr Tagao’s family and friends.

The death has been reported to the Coroner.
