Police have finished their scene examination following a single-vehicle crash on Centennial Highway this afternoon.
The road is now open.
The driver, the single occupant of the vehicle, has been airlifted to Middlemore Hospital in a critical condition.
The investigation to determine how the crash occurred is ongoing.
