made to household economic survey data for year ended June 2020 – Methods

This page provides information about corrections
applied to the household economic survey for the year ended June 2020.
The corrections have been applied to Household
income and housing-cost statistics: Year ended June 2020
on 16 February 2021 and to Child
poverty statistics: Year ended June 2020,
published on 23 February 2021.
Two errors have been corrected, one related
to selection weights, and one related to the reporting of private superannuation.
The errors that were corrected in the underlying (HES) data only impacted
the year ended June 2020 estimates. There was no impact to the year ended
June 2019 data, or other previous years.
