One person has died following a fatal crash in Kauri last night.
Emergency services were called to the two vehicle crash on State Highway 1 just before 8.30pm.
Sadly, one person has died at the scene. No other injuries have been reported.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or who might have dashcam footage.
Anyone travelling on State Highway 1 between Springs Flat Roadhouse and Fonterra Kauri between 8-8.30pm last night, who saw two vehicles travelling at speed in a northerly direction, are asked to get in touch with Police.
