Police are asking people in Dunedin to avoid travelling unless absolutely necessary due to snow fall and icy roads.
Police have received a number of reports of crashes across Dunedin this morning, with some vehicles sliding off the road.
Thankfully, there have been no injuries.
We are asking that everyone avoid traveling, even in areas that aren’t experiencing snow fall.
If you are on the road, please drive to the conditions – slow down, keep a safe following distance, exercise patience, and expect delays.
