Update: Common Room bar fight, Hastings

Police have arrested a second person in relation to a fight at the Common Room bar earlier this month.

Police responded to the fight that occurred between 1.30 and 2am on Sunday 8 March, where several people were injured – some seriously, with one requiring hospital treatment.

The man, 20, is due to appear in the Hastings District Court on Wednesday 1 April charged with assault with intent to cause GBH and assault with intent to injure.

Police have a warrant to arrest two further men in relation to this fight, Christopher Wirihana, 18 and Masyn Ratima, 19 (pictured).

Both are believed to be in the Hawke’s Bay region.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of these two, or with any information that could assist Police is urged to contact 105, either over the phone or online, referencing file number 260308/6292.

Information can also be provided anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.

Police are also looking for two women in relation to the incident (also pictured). We believe they may be able to help in our enquiries. If this is you, or you recognise these women, please contact Police.
