Allanton-Waihola Road/ State Highway 1 is closed following a serious crash this morning.
The road is closed west of the Allanton township.
The two-vehicle crash occurred about 1am.
The Serious Crash Unit is in attendance.
Diversions are in place and will likely remain in place until this afternoon.
