Police are now in a position to release the name of the man who died following a crash on State Highway 5 at Tarawera on 28 May.
He was 30-year-old Gonzalo Ezequiel Altez Sosa, of Akina, Hastings.
Our thoughts are with those close to him.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
