Emergency services are responding to a serious crash involving two vehicles in Takanini.
Police were notified of the crash, at the intersection of Great South Road and Manuia Road, just after 9am.
Early indications suggest one person has suffered serious injuries.
Road closures are in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area or expect delays.
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
