Police can confirm one person has died following a crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle on Gladstone Road, Gisborne this afternoon.
Police were notified of the crash shortly after 4pm.
The motorcycle rider died at the scene.
Gladstone Road is closed between Campion Road and Aberdeen Road, and will remain closed while the Serious Crash Unit conduct a scene examination.
