New Zealand Police is pleased to announce that the 375-recruit wing will be graduating from their initial training course on Thursday 27 June in front of whānau and friends.
Attending the ceremony will be Commissioner Andrew Coster and the Police executive, the Associate Minister of Police the Hon Casey Costello, and Wing Patron, Dr Diana Sarfati, the Director-General of Health New Zealand.
Dr Sarfati says, “I have enjoyed my time as patron for Wing 375. I am confident these graduates are going to make a big difference in communities across the country – and I will be following their progress with pride.”
Wing 375’s six prize-winners are spread across several policing jurisdictions, namely Eastern, Counties Manukau, Bay of Plenty, Canterbury, and Waikato Districts.
More details about statistics, prize winners and other recruits will be shared on graduation day.
Media are welcome to attend the graduation parade which takes place at Te Rauparaha Arena, Main Arena, 17 Parumoana Street, Porirua.
The ceremony starts at 2pm, media are encouraged to be in place by 1.30pm.
