State Highway 1 near Grovetown in Marlborough is closed following a crash this morning.
The crash, involving a van and a truck, was reported to Police at 6.40am.
State Highway 1 is closed between Dodson Street and Lower Wairau Road.
Motorists are asked to delay travel or take alternative routes where possible.
