Police are responding to a one vehicle crash where the car has collided with a tree on Te Pua Road, near State Highway 1, Kaikohe.
The crash was reported around 5:30pm.
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
The road is blocked and diversions are in place, motorists are advised to take the alternate route.
