Napier Police have arrested two youths following an aggravated robbery at a commercial premises on Hyderbad Road, Marewa, early this week.
Police responded to reports of two young men entering a commercial address with masks and weapons, not firearms, at around 6:15am on Monday 12 February.
The offenders leapt over the counter and stole various items before fleeing on foot. However, they were tracked down and arrested by the responding Police units a short time later.
This is a fantastic result, with the youths apprehended in minutes and all stolen property recovered.
Two youths are due to appear before the Napier District Youth Court on charges related to the incident in due course.
