Northbound traffic on State Highway 25 is being turned-back at Kopu and southbound traffic is being turned-back in Thames, following a crash crash involving a car and a motorcycle on SH25 near Banks Street, reported at 11.55am.
One person is reported to be in a critical condition. Serious Crash Unit is in attendance.
The road is expected to be closed for several hours, motorists are advised to avoid the area and expect delays.
