Motorists are advised road closures are in place in Morningside this afternoon following a crash.
The crash, involving two vehicles on Tarewa Road, was reported to Police just after 2pm.
Initial indications suggest one person has received serious injuries.
Tarewa Road is currently closed between Anzac Road and State Highway 1 and diversions are in place.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area where possible.
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
