With only six booths remaining, the Marina Industries Association (MIA) makes a final call to businesses with an interest in the marina industries to exhibit at the Marinas24 International Conference and Trade Exhibition (Marinas24).

Taking place on the 27- 29 May 2024 at the Royal International Convention Centre (RICC) Brisbane, Queensland, Marinas24 offers the optimal opportunity for industry suppliers to connect and engage with key marina industry owners and operators.

After the success of Marinas22 and buoyed by the health of the industry and investment that marinas are making in services to recreational boaters, exhibition space for the 2024 event has been increased by 25%.

MIA CEO Suzanne Davies said, “The growth of the event in terms of both exhibitors and delegates meant we simply outgrew hotel-based conference centres. The RICC will give us the intimacy of our own exclusive venue with the space we need to accommodate more exhibitors and delegates. We are very pleased with the response and are confident that we have an exhibitor mix that will be very useful for marina owners and operators to connect with.”

Regular conference attendee Ben Anderson from Mackay Marina commented, “Marinas24 is a must attend event for all marina operators because it is the most efficient and effective way to meet with suppliers and learn about the latest range of products and services available on the market.”

While the RICC will be able to accommodate more delegates, the advice is to book early if you want to secure accommodation at the closest conference hotel, The Rydges Fortitude Valley. MIA President Andrew Chapman advised, “Discounted Early Bird registration will remain open until March 15, but we recommend those wanting to secure a room at The Rydges, directly across the road from the RICC to register now and secure a room. We have booked the entire 208 rooms at the hotel for the duration of the conference, but we will sell out. There is plenty of accommodation in the area, but it is always nice to be as close as possible”.

Those wanting to join the Study Tour on Wednesday 29 May should also think about registering as the 2022 tour was a sellout and spots are limited.

The Marinas24 Exhibitor and Partnership Prospectus can be downloaded at www.marinas-24.com. The new look conference website will be home to all of the latest conference and exhibition information and is being regularly updated as program details, exhibitors and speakers are announced.

The MIA has over 300 corporate members and connects over 2,000 industry leaders and decision makers. 75% of members are marinas, clubs, and boatyards and over 80% of larger marinas (over 100 berths) in Australia are members of the MIA.

Marinas International Conference & Exhibition

The Marina Industries Association (MIA) hosts a biennial Marina Conference and International Tradeshow which brings together 300 – 400 delegates comprising the region’s leading marina and club operators, owners, and vendors along with related government agency representatives. The conference is informative and motivational and tackles some of the big issues and opportunities through presentations and interactive sessions. The trade exhibition brings together a wide range of industry vendors who showcase the latest products and services specifically for marinas including clubs, boat yards and dry stacks. The exhibition provides vendors and delegates with the most efficient and cost-effective way to meet face to face. The 2024 event will be held at the Royal International Convention Centre (RICC) Brisbane, Queensland 27-29 May 2024. Given the buoyancy of the industry, record numbers are expected.
