Police are responding to a one vehicle crash on State Highway 35, near Waiomoko Road, Whangara, Gisborne.
The crash was reported around 9:50am.
One person is in a serious condition and one person is in a minor condition.
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
The road is blocked, and motorists are advised to take State Highway 2.
