Motorists are advised that Main South Road in Green Island is closed near Carnforth Street, while emergency services respond to a crash involving a single vehicle reported at around 3.15pm.
No injuries are reported at this time, but powerlines have been brought down and work is underway to remove them.
Diversions are in place, motorists are advised to expect delays and asked to avoid the area.
