Police are responding to a serious single vehicle crash on Galatea Road, Waiohau reported around 2:30pm.
One person is reported to have critical injuries.
The road is due to be closed for a scene examination and the Serious crash Unit have been notified.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes and avoid the area.
