Police are responding to a serious crash in South Taranaki.
The three-vehicle crash occurred on State Highway 3 / Patea Road at around 1.15pm.
Initial reports indicate there are serious injuries.
The Serious Crash Unit has been notified.
State Highway 3 is closed and will be for a substantial period.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
