Police are responding to a two vehicle crash on the intersection of State highway 57 and Kara Road, Shannon, Horowhenua District.
The crash was reported around 3:10pm.
The Serious Crash Unit have been advised.
The road is likely to be blocked for the rest of the day and motorists are advised to expect delays.
