Media advisory: Police showcase new look community car

Media are invited to attend an unveiling of our newly fitted-out community car.

The launch of the vehicle which will service our diverse New Zealand communities, aims to strengthen and increase ethnic representation, capability, wellbeing and cultural responsiveness by New Zealand Police. 

The vehicle joins the fleet alongside the Pirihimana (Māori), Va’a (Pasifika) and Rainbow (Pride) cars. It will be added to our fleet as a part of supporting one of our values which is valuing diversity and our commitment to our ethnic communities.

When:
The launch starts 12.30pm and ends at 1pm Thursday 7 September. There will be a photo opportunity with the vehicle directly after this. Media to be in place by 12 noon. Please be on time as you will need to sign-in if it’s raining and the formalities are moved to a sheltered area.
