Police are responding to a collision involving a car and a powerline on Holdaway Road, Lower Moutere, reported around 3:30pm.
There are no reports of injury but the power line has come down accross the road.
The road will be closed for some time while the line is repaired.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes.
