Delays following crash, State Highway 93, Mataura

Emergency services are responding to a single-vehicle crash on State Highway 93, in Mataura this morning.

Police were called at around 5.25am after a vehicle hit a powerpole.

Initial reports suggest one person is in a moderate condition and two people have received minor injuries.

The road is operating to one lane while the powerlines are cleared, this is expected to take several hours.

Motorists are advised to use an alternate route or expect delays.
