Arrest made following aggravated burglary, New Plymouth

One person has been arrested following an aggravated burglary at a dairy on Mangorei Road, New Plymouth, earlier this week.

Police responded to a burglary where a stolen vehicle was used to gain entry Monday night, 26 June. 

Two warrants were executed yesterday at addresses across New Plymouth, and vaping products were recovered.

One person was arrested and a young person has also been referred to Youth Aid. 

The 18-year-old woman is due to appear in New Plymouth District Court next week on a charge of burglary with a weapon. 

Enquiries are ongoing and further arrests are likely.

Police take this offending extremely seriously and work hard to hold offenders to account.
