Attending the event will be the Police Minister Hon Ginny Andersen; Police Commissioner Andrew Coster; and Te Tari Pūreke Executive Director Angela Brazier.
Media are invited to the launch of the new firearms registry on Saturday 24 June at Level 4, Rugby House, Molesworth Street, Thorndon.
The event will start at 10am so we ask media to be in place by 9.45am.
The Minister and Commissioner will speak, then there will be a demonstration of the registry. Following that there will be an opportunity for media to interview the Minister/Commissioner.
