Changes to release time on 14 June 2023 – Food price index: May 2023 and Rental prices index: May 2023

On 14 June there will be a change to our release time for Food price index: May 2023 and Rental prices index: May 2023.
There have been occasions over the past year when our current data publishing tools – Infoshare and NZ.Stat – have not performed to the standard we expect when delivering to our customers.
It’s crucial for our customers to have easy access to modern tools providing the data they need.
As a result, we will be replacing NZ.Stat and intending to replace Infoshare. You can find out more about this work here: We are changing our data tools.
Until these improvements are made, we are reducing wherever possible the load on our tools at 10.45am to ensure that our customers can access key market sensitive data in a timely manner.
On Wednesday, 14 June 2023 we will stagger the releases as follows.

| Food price index: May 2023 | 12:00pm |
| Rental price index: May 2023 | 12:00pm |
