Emergency services are currently responding to a three-vehicle collision on State highway 2, Waikino this morning.
The crash was reported at 8.20am.
Initial reports suggest two people are in a moderate condition.
The road is currently closed between Waitawheta Road and Campbell Road.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and take an alternate route.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
