Further arrests in relation to Taumarunui burglary

Ruapehu Police have made two further arrests in relation to a burglary in Taumarunui earlier this month.

At around 4am on Thursday 13 April Police responded to a report of a burglary of a business on Hakiaha Street, Taumarunui in which a vehicle was used to gain entry to the premises.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on 22 April and has been charged with burglary. He is due to appear in the Taumarunui District Court on 27 April.

A 22-year-old-man was arrested on 17 April and has been charged with receiving. He is due to appear in the Hamilton District Court on 28 April.

Police arrested and charged a youth with burglary on 14 April.

Police have not ruled out filing further charges against the offenders.
