One person has died following a crash on Nightcaps Opio Road north of State Highway 96 yesterday, 21 February.
Emergency services were notified of the two-vehicle crash at about 3pm.
Sadly, one person has died in hospital.
An additional person is in Dunedin Hospital with serious injuries.
The Serious Crash Unit has attended and enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are underway.
