Police seek witnesses to aggravated robbery

Invercargill Police are appealing for witnesses to an aggravated robbery in Invercargill last night.

About 9.10pm on 30th January, 2023, an offender entered the On the Spot Collingwood Dairy on North Road.

He confronted a staff member and demanded cash, and the worker complied.

Those in the store were unharmed, but were left shaken. They are receiving support from their employer and Victim Support.

Police would particularly like to speak to anyone who was in the store at the time, or who may have seen suspicious or unusual behaviour in the area leading up to the incident.
