West Coast Road/ State Highway 73 is blocked following a serious motorcycle crash in Arthurs Pass.
One person has been transported to Christchurch Hospital via Helicopter with serious injuries.
Serious Crash Unit has been notified.
The road is expected to reopen late afternoon.
