A part of Karaka Road is closed, following a serious crash.
Around 2.53pm, Police received a report of a crash between two vehicles.
The part of the road between Blackbridge Road and Whnagapouri Road is closed while the scene is attended to, and diversions are in place.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area until further notice.
Police will provide an update on any injuries when this information is available.
