State Highway 3, south of Otorohanga, is closed following a crash this afternoon.
Police were notified of the crash at about 3.55pm.
One person appears to have sustained serious injuries.
Diversions will be in place while the scene is cleared.
Police thank motorists for their patience.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are underway.
