Police can now confirm seven people have been injured in the serious crash on State Highway 1, Richmond that occurred at about 12.05pm.
One person is critically injured and one person has moderate injuries. Five other people have sustained minor to moderate injuries and have been transported to hospital.
The road remains closed at this stage.
