Emergency services are dealing with a serious crash on State Highway 1, Richmond in Waitaki.
The crash occurred at about 12.05pm. One person is critically injured and one person has moderate injuries.
The road is closed between Seven Mile Road and Georgetown and diversions are currently in place.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and expect delays.
