Police are in attendance at a fatal crash on Puna Rere Drive, Tikipunga, where a vehicle has flipped.
Police were alerted to the crash around 8:50pm, three people were involved and of those, one has minor injuries and one was uninjured.
Puna Rere Drive will be closed for several hours, and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
Diversions will be in place at Te Hononga Street and Denby Crescent.
The Serious Crash Unit is attending.
