A serious crash between a truck and a car has caused a road closure on SH2 in Tangoio.
The crash occurred at around 10.10am.
One person has critical injuries and another person has serious injuries.
SH2 is closed between Whirinaki and Devil’s Elbow.
Diversions are currently in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area and expect delays.
The closure is expected to be in place for several hours.
