One person has died following a crash on the Kaipara Coast Highway in Kaukapakapa, Auckland overnight.
Police received a report of the single-vehicle collision just after 1.30am, and attended with other emergency services.
One person sadly died at the scene.
A second passenger has sustained moderate injuries and was transported to hospital for assessment.
The Serious Crash Unit is in attendance.
There are no road closures in place, but emergency services remain at the scene.
