One person has died following a serious two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Waiuku and Aka Aka Roads, Puni, on Wednesday 28 September.
Emergency services responded to reports of the crash around 9.35pm.
One person was transported to hospital with critical injuries, however has sadly died overnight.
A second person remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
