Emergency services are at the scene of a serious two-vehicle crash at the intersecition of Waiuku and Aka Aka Roads, Puni.
Police were called about 9.35pm.
Initial reports suggest there have been serious injuries.
The road will be closed, with diversions in place.
Motorists should please avoid the area if possible.
