Final finishing and clean-up work as part of the Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency and Gisborne District Council asphalting programme will take place Tuesday 27 to Thursday 29 September from 7pm – 5am.

The work will be undertaken at a number of state highway and local road locations outlined in the table below.

Short periods of stop/stop will be in place, with expected delays of approximately five minutes.

Motorists are asked to adhere to the relevant speed limits and follow the directions of  traffic management staff and signs to help keep everyone safe.

This work is weather dependent. In the case of poor weather it will be moved to the next fine day.

Waka Kotahi and Gisborne District Council thank people for their patience while we undertake this important work.
